Located in the heart of Fort Walton Beach, Taco Town is a cherished local gem serving up authentic Mexican flavors with a fast-food twist. This unpretentious spot welcomes guests with a cozy, no-frills atmosphere that feels like a warm hug from a hometown friend. Whether you’re looking to dine in a comfortable booth or grab a quick takeout, Taco Town delivers fresh, satisfying meals that leave a lasting impression without breaking the bank.

Taco Town’s menu is a vibrant celebration of classic Mexican comfort food made with care and bold, inviting flavors. The standout items like the Maxi Beef Burrito and Chicken Enchiladas showcase hearty portions filled with perfectly seasoned meats, melted cheeses, and fresh ingredients. The Soft Taco, bursting with seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce, and sharp shredded cheese wrapped in a warm flour tortilla, is delightfully simple yet incredibly satisfying. For those craving variety, the Nachos Supreme pile high layers of crisp tortilla chips, savory beef, melted cheese, and zesty salsa — a dish that Randy Ward fondly describes as “a mountain of nachos.”

One can almost taste the balance in every bite—the slight crunch of the taco shells, the creamy coolness of fresh guacamole, and the gentle kick from their 6oz. hot salsa. Whether you opt for the mildly spicy Chicken Enchilada or the flavorful Breakfast Burrito to start your day, Taco Town offers a menu that satisfies cravings at any time.

You know what I love about Tacos? Everything! The New Pizza, Crepe, Taco, Pancake, Chili bag is the greatest thing ever! Can I eat it now?

Local restaurant that's been around for decades. Prices are very good for the amount of food you get. I would recommend this to anybody in the area. I had the nachos supreme and it was a mountain of nachos.

I have enjoyed lunch dining in before. Booths or tables. This simple, no frills restaurant has great food and service. Large, fresh portions, & reasonably priced. Got a take out order on a Friday afternoon, around 11:30…easy in and out! Got pics of my soft chicken taco, and side chips with small guacamole . It was all delicious, and the sweet tea is definitely refreshing! When it’s busy, parking can be difficult, (because it’s small and on a busy corner lot…) So plan accordingly.

This is another locals dive spot. From the outside very basic and they even joke themselves about it. The service was really quick and the staff was kind and exercised southern hospitality. Everything was made to order and made as ordered. The salsas were pretty good and I over all enjoyed my experience. This place is probably the cheapest price of tacos and burritos in the area and they deliver on their promise.

Best food in town! We love this little spot. It is one of the only places in town that you can feed an entire family with amazing food and not break the bank. They make the best taco salad!

Ate at Taco Town August 2,2024 with my wife and I would have to give it 4/5 stars. The amount of food for the price you pay is absolutely insane (in a good way). If you’re a college stupid or someone just budgeting lunch on a work week this is the place for you as it does what it’s intended and fill you up without breaking the bank. I ordered the Taco Town two layer tacos and it is a soft tortilla with refried beans with a hard shell containing a lot of meat cheese, lettuce. I got a side of sour cream for $.80 extra. My wife ordered 2 soft tacos with extra sour cream. All together both of our meals which included 5 tacos, and 2 large drinks were $15.50. They were pretty hefty tacos for what it is. Now the taste, I will say the meat could of used better seasoning but it’s not horrible, I definitely think the two layers instead of having the refried beans changed with nacho cheese would of made them tacos slap and made it a 5/5 but for the price you pay and the amount of food you get you get a good deal. Service was very friendly and quick with a lot of seating available for patrons. Will be back again and have a full stomach by the end of my meal thank yall.
